It is very important  to be healthy -  both physically and mentally, now more  than ever before. This is possible by mindful living, specifically mindful breathing.
We often forget in the hustle and bustle of life that we need to pause and take care of ourselves. That is why this awareness is being spread.  All we need to do is pause for 60 seconds and follow this technique called
"MY 60 SECONDS". 



WHY NOW

These are tough times. We have to fight this pandemic. Improve our immunity, physical and mental health and most importantly be able to feel happy, relaxed and peaceful.

How did "My 60 Seconds" come about

Hear it from the Founder : "I am a  physician living in Virginia and practicing Internal Medicine within a few miles of Washington D.C., capital of the most powerful country in the world.  I am surrounded by the front line warriors everyday.  These are unprecedented times and the health care workers are living and working in the middle of chaos and uncertainty.  I have seen stress, fear, and hopelessness in the eyes of those  who are trying very hard to give hope and serve the sick. The times of COVID-19 are the toughest, something unfathomed by our generation.  
Recently, some of my nurses and colleagues asked me if there was a way they could remain sane,  functional and happy  in these stressful times. That's when this concept of " My 60 Seconds" originated.  It is based on taking deep breaths while connecting with universal positivity. We started practicing "My 60 Seconds" technique at our healthcare facility and saw immediate results. Because it was so effective with immediate benefits, it was embraced by everyone - from physicians, nurses, case managers, medical technicians, ancillary staff, really everyone. It made my medical team feel at ease instantly. They were more peaceful and calm and felt they were more productive and happier. Their stress level was down a few notches. Not only did they use it at work for themselves and their patients, they actually took it home to their families, specially their children! 
I believe that  if we reclaim "My 60 Seconds" and make it a part of our lives, it will be revolutionary.
"My 60 Seconds" needs to reach out to more and more folks.  Most importantly, it is a reminder for all of us to take that much needed break and recharge."

Anyone can use it, whether you are a health care worker,  fire fighter,  police officer,  lawyer, banker,  auto mechanic, realtor, executive,  politician, stay at home mom or dad, teacher, and student. If you are not on this list, you can do it too!

About the Founder

As  a  proponent of INNER WELL-BEING,  this  relaxation technique called  "MY 60 SECONDS" was developed by Dr. Kanchan Anand. Initially it was taught to the  health care workers as they are the front line warriors and needed it the most. This technique takes 60 seconds to feel calm and recharged hence the name, "My 60 Seconds".
Due to the overwhelming response and effectiveness , it was shared with  everyone. It brought down stress levels by 40-60% in 60 seconds.
Since everyone can benefit from it and have excellent physical and mental health, especially during these unprecedented times. Our hope is that "My 60 Seconds" will reach maximum number of people so that peace and calm can spread across the globe.
